Benjamin Moore announced its color of the year this month, Caliente, and it's HOT, HOT, HOT!

After a year-long dive into international design trends, from art to architecture, the experts at Benjamin Moore saw shades of red emerging everywhere. Red is a daring color choice that's energetic, passionate, warm and unapologetically strong-willed. While it's a bold hue for some, being the color-loving designers we are, we're into it! It's been one of our favorite color choices for years.

Red is timeless and it's been used in architecture and design for centuries, as seen in ancient Chinese temples, St. Basil's Cathedral in Russia and the Puck Building in New York. And, who could forgot, the iconic phone booths in London or the signature soles of a pair of Louboutins? From traditional, to farmhouse to modern spaces, Caliente fits right in.
