Our Love Affair With Distinctive Front Doors

Our Love Affair With Distinctive Front Doors

If you follow us on Pinterest it's no secret we're slightly obsessed with exterior doors. Who doesn't love when a home has serious curb appeal? But it's more than that. As interior designers, we definitely have a distinctive point of view and believe in highly personalized spaces. The front door is a great starting point for injecting some personality. It's the first impression people get of your home and it's the perfect place to give the world a glimpse into your style. An eye-catching door always makes you wonder about the occupants or business behind it.

Whenever either of us travel, we're always drawn to distinctive doors. Whether they feature a fresh bold color that contrasts with the building's traditional architecture or pair industrial elements with a contemporary abode, we just can't seem to get enough. Here are some – okay, quite a few – of our favorite exterior doors. All photos are by us unless otherwise noted.
